37 Calorie chocolate brownies?! *Recipe*

with 2 comments

Ahhh! I have been looking for a low-calorie chocolate treat for-forever!

As a recovering anorexic, its nice to have new foods to try and/or to make my meal plan more interesting, but obviously chocolate is quite a ‘scary’ food for many eating disorder sufferers, but if its low-calorie im sure it should be okay!

Im going to have to do my research before i try them myself just to make sure the calorie content is correct, but it sounds pretty trust worthy!

Anyway, the recipe ~

3/4 cup nonfat greek yogurt
1/4 cup skim milk
1/2 cup Cocoa powder
1/2 cup Old fashioned rolled oats (like Quaker)
1/2 cup Truvia (or any natural/stevia based sweetener that pours like sugar)
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a square baking dish. Combine all ingredients into a food processor or a blender, and blend until smooth (about 1 minute). Pour into the prepared dish and bake for about 15 minutes. Then allow to cool!

Now, remember – you have to cut them into 9 pieces for them to be 37 calories each! Yummy!

I honestly cant wait to try them, yum yum yum!
